The Broad Gauge Hutnicza Line (LHS), also known as Railway Line No. 65, is a crucial non-electrified, single-track railway extending 394 kilometers from the Polish state border at Hrubieszów to the Sławków Południowy LHS railway station. With a total track length of 524 kilometers, it holds the distinction of being Poland's longest broad-gauge railway line.
This line is widely recognized as the westernmost railway in Europe operating on a 1,520 mm track gauge, offering unique logistical advantages for transcontinental freight. A key feature of its infrastructure is the bridge on the Bug River, facilitating seamless transport across the region.
